God Has a Plan, Now Let’s Build With Him
Jul 24, 2025
You know God has more for you. Maybe He’s placed a dream on your heart, stirred something deep in your spirit, or made it clear that it’s time for change. But once you know there’s a calling… then what?
This is the moment where many of us get stuck. We sense God’s invitation, but we hesitate. Why? Because the next step feels uncertain. We’re afraid of making the wrong move, not being enough, or failing altogether. But here’s what you need to remember: God doesn’t just give you a vision, He walks with you as you build it.
Sometimes we wait for God to hand us a full blueprint when what He’s offering is a first brick. His plan often unfolds step by step, not all at once. And if you’re constantly waiting for more clarity before you act, you might miss the very growth that comes through the process of building.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” – Proverbs 3:5
You don’t have to understand every detail to begin. You just need to trust the One who does.
Start by getting honest with where you are. What has God already spoken over your life? What passions, gifts, or lessons has He placed in you that keep resurfacing? What’s breaking your heart or stirring it? These are clues. They’re not random. They’re pieces of your calling.
Then take one small, faithful step. That might look like signing up for a course, starting that conversation, creating a quiet time routine, or setting a boundary that protects your peace. Don’t despise small beginnings. God honors obedience over outcome.
Also, don’t forget to build with Him, not just for Him. Sometimes in our ambition to do something for God, we accidentally take control and start striving. But God isn’t looking for performanc, He’s after partnership. Invite Him into the planning, into the decision-making, into the fear. Ask Him to lead every detail.
And when doubt creeps in, and it will, remember who gave you the vision in the first place. God doesn’t call the equipped. He equips the called. Your job isn’t to be perfect. It’s to be available.
You’re not behind. You’re not late. You’re not too broken to build something beautiful with your life. Everything you’ve walked through is part of your preparation. What the enemy meant for harm, God will use as foundation.
So stop waiting to feel “ready.” Instead, ask, what’s my next step of obedience? Then take it with open hands, a soft heart, and full trust that God’s plan is better than anything you could design on your own.
You don’t have to build alone. He’s already in it with you.
